Monday race schedule postponed to Tuesday
The weather on Monday morning gave the Clerk of the Course, Phil Taubman, a major headache as he was forced to call off the day's racing schedule.
Intially it was hoped that with the reasonable forecast for the morning it would be possible to go ahead with the Classic TT Lap of Honour and Okells 350cc race.
Early on it was confirmed the Motorsport Merchandise F1/F2 and IMGold Manx Grand Prix Newcomers races would be held over until Tuesday.
However, just before roads were due to close at 9.30 it was announced on Manx Radio TT that the day's schedule had been put off due to deteriorating conditions on the Mountain.
The revised schedule for Tuesday will be as follows:
11.30 Roads close around the Mountain Course
12.00 Okells Classic TT 350cc Race
13.30 Classic Racer Lap of Honour Parade Lap
14.45 Motorsport Merchandise Formula 1/F2 Race
17.00 Roads open around the course
18.00 Roads Close
18.30 IMGold Manx Grand Prix Newcomers Race
Roads are scheduled to open at 20.30 but will open no later than 21.00
