After practically dominating the 2008 TT, last year was an unmitigated disaster for Hector and Philip Neill’s team with just one finish to show for their efforts. Anstey was denied an 8th TT win when the machine expired less than 6 miles from the finish in the opening Supersport race and also retired from the three 1000cc-capacity races. His only finish was second in the second Supersport race. He returns with a major point to prove and if his shoulder his 100% healed, then expect him to do just that.
