The last two years have seen Lancashire’s Rennie back to his finest and he’s undoubtedly been the best privateer around the Mountain Course. Indeed, 2008 and 2009 saw him take no less than seven top-ten finishes culminating in a brilliant 5th place in last year’s Senior, his best ever result on the Island. A personal best lap of almost 127mph further proved his impressive credentials and it’s only fair that he’s rewarded this season with a ride with the highly experienced Phase One team. The triple World Endurance champions are keen to prove themselves at the TT and who better to sign than the hard riding Rennie who will ensure they have a major presence at TT2010.
