Sidecar crews will be in action in Germany this weekend as preparations for the Centenary TT continue.
Klaus Klaffenböck and Christian Parzer will be among those competing in the opening round of the World Sidecar Championship at Schleiz.
Among the others due to take part in the event is Dave Molyneux, who has won 11 times around the Isle of Man's 37.73-mile Mountain Circuit. The sidecar legend, with passenger Rick Long, is hotly tipped for success in the Bavaria Beer Sidecar races during this year's TT, which starts on May 26.
The triangular Schleizer Dreieck circuit is in Thuringia. It was built in 1923, making it Germany’s oldest racetrack.
The 3.808km-course is surrounded by a landscape comparable to Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium or to the TT's Mountain Course of the TT. The lap record, set in 2004, stands at 1min30.263
This will be the final race for Klaffenböck and Parzer before they head to the TT.
