TT goes Live!
This evening’s scheduled practice session will be the last chance to use the fantastic new TT Live! service without a subscription.
Throughout practice week fans have been able to follow the action from the Centenary TT with the most detailed online coverage ever offered thanks to TT Live!
TT Live! is a new service from the Official website of the Isle of Man TT.
Expanded bandwidth, to help cope with anticipated demand during the 100th year, has meant more people than ever have been able to follow the action online, which is just as well – the site, iomtt.com, has been attracting more than 16,000 visitors a day since the start of the TT!
In previous years lack of bandwidth has meant some online fans have not been able to connect to Manx Radio TT commentary and missed out on what was happening during the TT practice and race sessions.
With so much interest in the Centenary event, that situation could have worsened without the improvements implemented in 2007.
For this year, not only have more people been able to enjoy uninterrupted connection to Manx Radio TT commentary, they have also been able to take advantage of the most comprehensive online coverage ever.
The TT Live! service not only offers FM-comparable quality Manx Radio TT commentary, but also allows you to follow the progress of the leading competitors around the 37.73-mile TT Circuit.
You can also chart the progress of three other favourites alongside the leaders on the specially-designed TT Live! dashboard.
A news ticker tape is updated throughout each session, to ensure you are fully up-to-date on the action, and you can also keep an eye on lap speeds and data from the Unisys Sulby Speed Trap.
And all this costs just £8 for the whole TT!
Since practice week started on Saturday the service has been free to all users, but from tomorrow only people who pay a subscription will be able to enjoy the full range of benefits offered by TT Live!
Comments made by users during practice week have been taken on board by the TT Live! team, and the service has been improved even further for the subscriber-only period.
If you would like to make sure you don’t miss out on the action, subscribe to TT Live! now.
