Scene set for dramatic Senior TT

John McGuinness at the star-studded launch of Centenary TT sponsors

Racing at the Centenary Isle of Man TT comes to a dramatic climax today with the Senior sponsored by PokerStars.

The three solo races so far have produced three different winners, John McGuinness, who took his TT tally to 12 with victory in the Bennetts Superbike event, Kiwi Bruce Anstey, who secured his sixth win in the PokerStars Superstock race and Ian Hutchinson, who took his maiden win in the PokerStars Supersport.

All three will be bidding for glory in today's six lap race around the legendary 37.73 mile Mountain circuit.

However, Guy Martin, who has finished on the grid twice so far this year, is bound to be on a charge as he bids to secure a win in this special year.

And with the record-breaking, high-speed race drama seen already this week, there is no guarantee the winner will come from those four.

Racing is due to start at 10.45am. The Mountain section will close at 9.30am, with the rest of the roads closing at 10am.

After the Senior TT finishes, some of the greatest stars of mtorocycle racing will gather on the start line for the MCN Parade of Champions. TT winner and World Superbike champion Carl Fogarty is due to lead the field away, and will be followed around by an amazing list of greats, including many past and present TT riders and stars of short circuit racing.

The Centenary TT will come to a fitting climax on Harris Promenade, Douglas, tonight with amazing laser shows. TT on the Prom, outside the Villa Marina, will play host to an array of spectacular entertainment, including a full show by the Purple Helmets, before two laser shows, one at 10pm and the second at 11pm, bring the curtain down on TT 2007.
