Charity boost from Island firm
More than £7,000 has been raised for TT-related charities thanks to Island firm PokerStars.
The Mike Hailwood Foundation, Joey Dunlop Foundation and Rob Vine Fund will all benefit from the proceeds of a raffle run by the Isle of Man-based online gaming firm throughout the Centenary TT.
TT fans snapped up tickets for the chance to win a limited edition 1000cc Yamaha R1, plus commemorative Centenary TT Arai helmet and bike trailer.
Two runners-up also won their very own Arai Centenary TT helmet.
The winners were drawn by TT and World Superbike legend Carl Fogarty on the day of the Senior TT. The top prize went to a TT fan who lives in the Far East!
The winning numbers were; 1st, 00403: 2nd, 01812: 3rd, 02808. The lucky ticket holders have been contacted.
PokerStars, the world’s largest online poker site, is proud to be based in the Isle of Man and as part of its commitment to helping the local community, became a major partner of the TT in 2007.
As official gaming partner of the TT, PokerStars sponsored the Superstock, Supersport and Senior races, as well as being official partner of TT on the Prom.
