Teams and riders planning on taking part in the Isle of Man TT in 2008 are being encouraged to make ferry travel arrangements now.
The Steam Packet Company has issued a booking form for teams and riders to use to book spaces on selected sailings during TT2008. The form can be downloaded from the Team and Competitor Travel page of this website.
A spokesman for the Isle of Man Government Department of Tourism and Leisure said teams and riders should make use of the form as soon as possible.
He explained:
‘These sailings are available for riders and teams to book immediately with the standard deposit.’
‘If any competitor has his or her entry rejected for all races entered, the balance of the ferry travel will be refunded by the Steam Packet.’
The spokesman added:
‘Please note that this is a new process and the race organisers will not be handling bookings directly as in previous years.’
