The re-enactment of the 1907 TT features in the exhibition

There will be another chance to see a fascinating photo exhibition that celebrates the Centenary of the TT.

The Sensory Overload exhibition enjoyed a successful display at the Erin Arts Centre in Port Erin last year. It has been confirmed the photographs will now go on show again, this time at the Villa Marina.

From March 17 to April 16, Sensory Overload will be exhibited in the upper floor gallery of the Douglas venue.

The exhibition is a collection of the work of internationally renowned Manx-based photographers Geoff McCann and Marianne McCourt.

The exhibition captures the action

It captures the action, atmosphere and festivities that marked the 100th year of the Isle of Man TT.

Mr McCann said:

‘The images displayed in this exhibition were all captured during the two weeks of the 2007 TT festival and we are chuffed to bits with the fantastic reception Sensory Overload has received.’
‘The opportunity to exhibit in the Villa Marina is massive for us.’
‘Feed back from those that saw Sensory Overload at the Erin Arts Centre has been great in that the images capture the flavour and atmosphere of what was a spectacular, world-class celebration.’

Some of the famous faces spotted at the Centenary TT are featured

He added:

‘It is always great to feel we have accomplished our goal. Our gratitude goes to the Isle of Man Bank and the Arts Council for their tremendous support of this project.’
