TT winner's record-breaking bike for sale

Ian Hutchinson rides the record-breaking Superbike which is up for sale

A World Record-breaking Superbike ridden by Isle of Man TT winner Ian Hutchinson is up for sale.

The McAdoo team is selling the 2006 Kawasaki ZX-10R machine Hutchy set a World Record on at the Ulster Grand Prix.

He claimed the record with a 130.828mph lap of Dundrod, as well as a podium at the TT in 2006, on the Superbike.

In 2007 the motorcycle was fitted with an upgraded engine, but didn’t see much action due to Raymond Porter’s retirement.

However, it did win both Superbike races at the 2007 Mid-Antrim 150 and secured a fourth at the Ulster GP with Ryan Farquhar on board.

Farquhar went on to win both Superbike races at the Cookstown 100 in 2008 before the 2008 Superbike was built.

The level of success seen by the machine is remarkable given it has actually only started 11 road races since it was built in 2006.
