Support for injured marshal
Colleagues of a Travelling Marshal injured during the 2009 Isle of Man TT have launched a fundraising effort.
More than 20 Travelling Marshals past and present posed together for a special photograph in the pitlane at the TT Grandstand in Douglas.
This special commemorative print, measuring 9 inches by 6 inches and with scanned signatures of everyone featured, is now being sold to raise funds for John McBride.
John suffered serious injuries in an accident while carrying out his travelling marshal duties during this year’s TT. He is continuing his recovery at a hospital in the UK.
Sales of the special print started during the Manx Grand Prix, with money raised being donated to the John McBride Support Fund.
