Leading stand-up comedian confirmed for 2010 Isle of Man TT

Bike fan and leading stand-up comedian Ross Noble will be part of the entertainment programme during the 2010 Isle of Man TT, it has been confirmed.
Noble – recently voted one of the top 10 greatest stand-ups in a poll by Channel 4 – will appear at the Villa Marina, Douglas, on June 3. It is a return trip for the comedian, who first performed in the Isle of Man in 2009.
During his last visit, Noble took the chance to lap the legendary Mountain circuit and is keen to a race live.
Reflecting on his last visit, Noble said:
“It was an amazing experience playing on the Isle of Man last year and we had a lot of fun with a great audience.”
“It was also fantastic to get a chance to follow in the footsteps of so many legendary riders and do a few laps of the course. I’m really looking forward to mixing with the bike fans and seeing the races live this year.”
Tickets for the Ross Noble performance go on sale at 9am on Saturday February 20. Tickets, £22.50, are not available online or at the Villa Marina, but can be purchased via the Ticket Hotline on 01624 600 555 or from the Welcome Centre at the Sea Terminal.
Noble’s appearance is part of an entertainment-packed line up planned for the TT. There will also be performances by leading bands, a film festival, extreme sports, stunt shows and air displays.
Fans will also have numerous opportunities to meet and greet their heroes at the chat shows and fan zones during the festival. TT2010 will also feature the 50th anniversary celebrations of leading Japanese manufacturer Suzuki's involvement in the TT Races.
