Firms from around the world are being invited to get involved in the 2010 Isle of Man TT.
Isle of Man Tourism is offering businesses the chance to advertise their brand to millions of people across the globe, and become part of the legendary TT festival.
Advertising space alongside the famous TT Mountain Course is available, in accordance with the Control of Advertising Act 1981.
A spokesman for Isle of Man Tourism said:
‘The Isle of Man TT offers cost effective advertising with a fantastic return on investment. Our ever increasing outreach will provide a platform to promote your brands and products to a large audience both locally and globally.’
‘Isle of Man Tourism is offering trackside advertising packages with significant exposure for your business. Packages will be competitively priced and grant you a licence to exhibit four or more large trackside banners in a location of your choice for the whole TT festival period. This includes printing, manufacture and installation of all advertising.’
The TT enjoys an on-Island audience of more than 50,000, plus a global following on television. In addition, more than 1,200 journalists and photographers attend the TT, meaning thousands of images from around the TT course are published in print and online. The organisers estimate media exposure is equivalent to £3 million-worth of advertising annually.
The spokesman added:
‘With more TV camera positions than ever before and extensive on-bike footage, TV coverage from all around the TT Course has never been better. TV programming of the TT reaches one billion homes across more than 100 countries and is shown by many of the world’s leading broadcasters as well as specialist sports channels.’
‘Viewing figures for the UK alone (ITV) peaked at a very impressive 500,000.'
