After inclement weather saw Saturday’s first practice of the 2010 Isle of Man TT disrupted, it looks like conditions around the Island are perfect for the Monday evening session.

All competitors were hoping to get their first experience of the Mountain circuit in 2010 on Saturday during the scheduled untimed practice. However, rain and low lying cloud saw the practice called off and instead the only competitors out were the newcomers on their escorted, speed-controlled sighting lap.

The sun has been shining on the Isle of Man throughout the day, and it looks like the Monday evening session will go ahead as planned.

The Mountain Road from Ramsey Hairpin to Creg-ny-Baa is due to close at 5pm, with the rest of the circuit closed by 6pm. The first machines away, the solos, are expected to leave the TT Grandstand in Douglas at 6.20pm.

The sidecars are due out at 8pm for their first timed practice session.

Roads are scheduled to start re-opening no later than 9.30pm, except the Mountain Road from Ramsey Hairpin to Creg-ny-Baa, which is due to open one hour later than the rest of the course.

All times are subject to change, so make sure you are following the action as it happens on TT Live!, listening to Manx Radio TT on 1368MW or 87.9FM in the Douglas area and calling 01624 685 888 for the latest roads information.
