Despite low-lying mist around areas of the Isle of Man, it is still hoped the first day of racing at the 2010 TT will get under way on time.
The six-lap PokerStars Superbike race is due to start at midday, with the first Sure Sidecar TT, to be run over three laps, due away at 3pm.
The Island was covered by mist this morning, but forecasters believe the cloud will lift to allow racing to be run – although a small delay cannot yet be ruled out.
The Mountain Road between Ramsey Hairpin and the Creg-ny-Baa is scheduled to close at 10.30am and the rest of the circuit at 11am.
