The Wednesday race schedule at the 2010 Isle of Man TT has been postponed due to poor weather.

The scheduled 10.45am start to the second Monster Energy Supersport race was delayed due to low-lying cloud, and then further delayed due to rain on parts of the course. Just before 2pm it was confirmed there would be no racing today.

The roads had closed at 1pm, and started re-opening shortly after the confirmation racing was off for the day.

A revised schedule for racing on Thursday is expected later.

The cancellation meant not only that the Monster Energy Supersport 2 TT couldn’t go ahead, but also that the second Sure Sidecar race and the TT Zero race for electric bikes were off.

Please listen to Manx Radio TT on 1368MW or 87.9FM in the Douglas area for further updates on the racing schedule, or call the roads information phoneline on 01624 685 888 for the latest on the situation on the roads.
