Dan Kneen takes double victory on Dundrod debut
On his first visit to the Dundrod circuit, TT star Dan Kneen scored two impressive wins.
The Manxman was racing in the Dundrod 150 on Thursday, ahead of Saturday’s Ulster Grand Prix.
Riding his Marks Bloom/Slick performance 600 Yamaha, the 23-year-old took the National event chequered flag by 7.6 seconds from Australian David Johnson after battling his way up from a starting position of eighth.
In the Challenge 1000cc support race Kneen won again with an average speed of 124.977mph and a fastest lap of 126.919mph.
He also finished second behind Ryan Farquhar in the Supertwin race on the Paul Morrissey 650 Kawasaki.
In the Superbike race Kneen finished 11th with a best lap of 127.10mph.
