Many of the leading TT riders are heading to Birmingham this week for the start of Motorcycle Live, the newly branded bike show that takes place every year at the NEC.

The show runs from Saturday November 27 to Sunday December 5 and will feature a dedicated ‘TT Day’ on Sunday November 28, as well as high profile appearances from all of the leading bike manufacturers including Yamaha who will be celebrating their 50th anniversary of competing in the Isle of Man in 2011.

The Isle of Man TT Races Fuelled by Monster Energy stand in Hall Three will be showing high definition Blu-ray footage of the TT races on a giant screen and will also have Ian Hutchinson’s TT winning Padgetts Honda Superbike on display.

Staff from Douglas based Regency Travel, the TT’s Official Travel and Ticketing Agency, will be at the show and will be able to take live bookings for travel, accommodation, hospitality and grandstand tickets and answer any questions. Regency Travel are also running a VIP package competition to win 2 tickets including travel, accommodation and hospitality at the 2011 TT, and are offering a 10% show discount on all Granstand and hospitality tickets booked during the Motorcycle Live show.

CinemaNX have had unique behind-the-scenes access to the races and into the lives of the riders who compete to be King of the Mountain and Motorcycle Live visitors will get an exclusive preview of the film that will be released in Spring of 2011.

Many of the leading TT riders will also be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs and answer questions. The ever popular TT dedicated day – ‘Mad TT Sunday’ – will be on Sunday November 28 with many of the leading riders including John McGuinness, Conor Cummins, Guy Martin, Ian Lougher and Michael Dunlop attending as well as double 2010 Sidecar TT champion Klaus Klaffenbock.

As well as revealing their 2011 plans, the riders will also be taking part in chat shows and answering questions in the popular ‘They think it’s all a question of TT races’ quiz where they will be pitting their bike knowledge against some of the world’s leading Moto GP stars. The Department of Economic Development will also be announcing more details about the 2011 Mountain Course Centenary event.
