Chance to hear about the 2011 TT from the racers and team bosses
Fans will be able to hear all about the fast-approaching 2011 Isle of Man TT fuelled by Monster Energy at a free event on April 19.
Leading contenders, newcomers and team bosses will be in the Island on Monday and Tuesday next week for the public launch of this year’s TT festival.
On the Tuesday evening many of the stars will gather at the Villa Marina in Douglas to discuss the upcoming event in front of a public audience.
The event, presented by Manx Radio sports journalists Tim Glover and Chris Kinley, is free of charge. It will start at 7pm and is scheduled to run until 9.30pm.
If you can't make it, you will be able to watch the full event on video through the iomtt.com website from Wednesday morning.
You will also be able to listen live on Manx Radio and it can be enjoyed worldwide via the station’s website manxradio.com.
Riders and their team bosses will be revealing their thoughts ahead of the 2011 campaign in an evening of interviews. Leading the line up will be 2010 history-maker Ian Hutchinson, who will be talking about his return from injury sustained at the end of last season. Hutchy is racing in the colours of SMR and will be riding a Yamaha in the 2011 TT.
Manx hero Conor Cummins, who came so close to victory in 2010, will also be updating fans on his progress from injury.
