The Isle of Man TT fuelled by Monster Energy

The scene is set for a thrilling climax to what has been an amazing 2011 Isle of Man TT fuelled by Monster Energy.

All eyes will be on the circuit at 12.15pm for the six-lap PokerStars Senior TT. 'Big bike' king John McGuinness must start as favourite, but it could be one of the most open Senior races for years. So far in 2011, every race has been won by a different competitor - a stark contrast to 2010 when Ian Hutchinson won five solo races, Klaus Klaffenbock and Dan Sayle both Sidecars and Mark Miller the TT Zero.

There is bright sunshine over the Isle of Man at the moment, although there are some dark clouds and a small risk of showers. The Mountain section of the course closed at 9.30am, with the rest of the course shut by 10am.

While the Senior TT is the only race action today, there's plenty to entertain fans. At 10.45am there will be a special parade lap to celebrate Yamaha's 50 years of rsacing, featuring legendary riders and iconic Yamaha bikes.

At 4.15pm there will be the Milestones of the Mountain Parade, celebrating 100 years of racing on the Mountain course. Once again there will a stunning line-up of stars and machines marking important milestones from the century of Mountain racing.

Plus, rally ace Mark Higgins will have another lap of the course in the Subaru car, his third of the week. That is due to happen at 2.30pm.
