Local and TT related charities to benefit from ebay auction

The Isle of Man TT fuelled by Monster Energy

The Isle of Man Government’s TT Motorsport team has put up a number of signed memorabilia items  on auction site Ebay, with all funds raised to be donated to three charities; the Children’s Centre (www.thechildrenscentre.org.im), the TT Riders Association (www.ttra.co.uk) and Road Racing Legends (www.roadracinglegends.org).

Some of the items were originally due to be auctioned at the TT ‘Day of Champions’ which was cancelled as the previous day’s racing programme was carried over to the following day.

The Items include a pair of Dainese Knee Sliders signed by Italian MotoGP star Valentino Rossi, two Pottery Arai Money Box Helmets signed by many of the leading riders from the TT as well as other Arai stars including Mick Doohan and Nicky Hayden who were on the Isle of Man in 2011 and a Dainese G Racing Tex Ladies jacket.

The auction will also feature a 2011 Limited Edition Arai Helmet signed by 2011 TT Race winners Gary Johnson, Michael Dunlop, Bruce Anstey, five time 2010 race winner Ian Hutchinson and leading Honda rider Keith Amor. The Drudi designs have provided hugely popular and are rarely available on the open market.
 
Listings have been placed by Bruce Baker whose ebay user id is iomanxie. They will go live on Monday 25th July and will be on a ten day listing.
