Millsport Racing has confirmed plans to return to the Isle of Man TT in 2012, and to run Ducati machinery at the meeting.

The team has scheduled the TT, North West 200 and Ulster Grand Prix, as well as the Mondello Master Series and Sunflower circuit races, for its planned return to racing next year.

Millsport Racing Ducati will run two new 1199 machines in the Superbike and Superstock classes, the team confirmed.

Patrick Murray said:

“This is a very exciting project for us, not only because we are returning to racing in 2012, but also because we are campaigning the new Ducati 1199 on the roads.”

“Millsport Racing choosing Ducati reinforces our commitment to the Ducati brand and our dealership, Millsport Motorcycles in Ballymoney.”

“We would also like to thank Ducati UK for their support in this venture and look forward to working with them throughout 2012 and beyond.”

He added Millsport is now actively talking to various riders and hopes to make an announcement on its line-up soon.
