Leading Motorsport photographer Dave Collister has produced a new book of his Isle of Man Road Racing Images called Shutter Speed 2.

The 128 page full colour book, produced by Isle of Man based Lily Publications, features new, in many cases previously unseen, images from the last five years of the TT Races together with a collection of his best work from 25 years at the Southern 100 Road Races.

Collister has also sought explanations and descriptions of the shots from many of the leading road racers including John McGuinness, Cameron Donald, Keith Amor, Dan Kneen, Klaus Klaffenbock and Gary Johnson who provide stunning revelations, detailed insights and vivid descriptions that expand on the pin-sharp shots. McGuinness reveals why he hangs off more to the left than the right, Cameron Donald talks about focus points at Union Mills while Dan Kneen opens up about a recent incident on Bray Hill.

Collister, who has photographed the TT since 1984, has had many of his images reproduced in motorcycle and lifestyle press around the world including the leading Motorcycle titles in the UK, Spain, France and USA. Respected motorcycle journalist Mick Duckworth has edited the book.

Simon Crellin, TT Press Officer, commented:

"It is really difficult for photographers now to stand out from the crowd but Collister's year round study of the course - dedicated research through the long winter months - invariably pays dividends when the TT comes around. His stunning images, frequently unique, are complemented by the searing descriptions by the riders of what they are experiencing as Collister's camera records their races."

Shutter Speed 2 is now available via the Official Isle of Man TT online store; here.
