Monday races delayed due to fog and damp roads
At just after 7.00am Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson announced there would be a delay to the start of Monday's racing.
Wet roads and fog on the mountain section forced the organisers to leave the roads open until 12.00pm
Isle of Man Government meteorologists have predicted a "cloudy but mostly dry" day with "extensive hill fog and coastal mist, [and] an odd light shower is possible."
They added that "hill fog will slowly lift but it may linger over the hill tops."
A further announcement on the day's schedule is expected at 12.00 pm. Roads remain open around the course this morning.
