- Lintin tops privateers table

Michael Dunlop has opened up a commanding lead in the Joey Dunlop TT Championship, which is based on points awarded for top fifteen place finishes in the Dainese Superbike, RL360 Superstock, the two Monster Energy Supersport Races and the PokerStars Senior TT.

Dunlop's race victories in the Dainese Superbike and RL360 Superstock and his third place in the Monster Energy Supersport Race 1 have given him 66 points, 17 ahead of second placed Bruce Anstey with Dean Harrison a further 8 behind in third.

In the Privateer's championship, open only to riders that don't receive manufacturer support, Ivan Lintin currently tops the board with 56 points with Peter Hickman, courtesy of his stunning 10th place in yesterday's RL360 Superstock race, second on 50 points. Hickman's position is all the more impressive given that he has scored maximum points in both of the races that he's competed in.

Dunlop has a chance to pull further away in the championship in today's Monster Energy Supersport Race 2 (10.45) and could even win the title if he takes the top spot and Anstey finishes lower than second.

The RAC Sidecar Championship Trophy will definitely be decided later today with the second Sure Sidecar race due to take place at 14.30.  Any finish in the top fifteen places by Conrad Harrison/Mike Aylott will mean that Dave Molyneux/Patrick Farrance cannot win the title after they retired in Saturday's opening Sure Sidecar race while John Holden/Andy Winkle and Tim Reeves/Gregory Cluze, second and third respectively, will be looking to finish ahead of the Shelbourne Honda outfit to top the Sidecar Championship.
