ITV4 TT Races coverage starts tonight

This year’s ITV4 TT Races coverage starts this evening at 9pm with the first of three preview programmes -  ‘Young Guns’, an in-depth look at three of the TT’s up and coming stars;  Lee Johnston, Peter Hickman and Dean Harrison. 

Tuesday’s programme looks at the ‘130 Club’, the 14 riders who have lapped the TT Mountain Course at an average speed of over 130mph while Wednesday’s preview show is an introduction to the event for novice fans – ‘The Beginners Guide’ gets behind the scenes and under the skin to explain what the event is about.

The TV team will pick up the track action from Thursday with shows scheduled every evening at 9pm looking at the major stories and action from the Mountain Course up to Saturday 13th June with two full review shows featuring the best moments from the fortnight on Monday 15th June at 6pm and 7pm.

Fans around the world will also be able to see the international highlights programmes on the following stations; Discovery Velocity (USA), Fox (Australia) South Africa (Supersport), New Zealand (Sky), France (L'Equipe) and Germany (Motorvision) who will all once again be showing the highlights package, whilst Norway (TV2), Finland (Nelonen Pro), Mauritius (MBC), Chile, Colombia,Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, México, Nicaragua, Panamá, Paraguay, Perú, República Dominicana, Uruguay and Venezuela (all Claro Sports) are on board for the first time this year.

Anchorman Craig Doyle will present the programmes with expert analysis provided by former TT and Grand Prix racer Steve Parrish, ex BSB Champion James Whitham and TT race winner Steve Plater.
