Lap and Race Records
For 100 years the Isle of Man TT has presented the ultimate challenge of machine and rider.

Throughout its illustrious history, the TT has made reputations and created legends. Victory in the Isle of Man is a sure-fire way of entering the annals of motorcycle history – another is to claim a lap or race record during the TT.
In 2007, as the TT marked its Centenary, lap records were shattered – culminating in the frankly amazing 130.354mph lap in the Senior TT, recorded by John McGuinness.
New race records were also set during 2007, although the Sidecar race record set by Dave Molyneux and Daniel Sayle in 2005 survived.
