Biography
Bosco O''Brien twice won the Skerries 100 race in Ireland and also competed in the Leinster 200 at Dunboyne.
In the 1970''s he switched to car racing, racing a Chevron B8, in 1974 he became a co-director with Stuart Cosgrave of the company which built and owned Ireland''''s only permanent purpose built race circuit, Mondello Park which in addition to being the new home of the Leinster 200, hosted British Superbike rounds from 2004.
Sadly, following kidney failure in 1981, Bosco died on the 3rd August 1983 at the age of 45.
