Scotsman Jim has an enviable seven TT wins to his name. The first came in 1993, with a Supersport 400 and 600 double. He has won the Singles TT twice and the Junior once. In his winning ride in the 1998 Production TT he became the first rider to lap at over 120mph on a Proddie bike and in the 1999 Senior in a brilliant opening lap he smashed the absolute course record. From a standing start his first lap speed was 124.45mph only to go out on the next lap with a shredded rear tyre. Glaswegian Jim is not just a road race specialist but can cut it on the short circuits over a full season as well.
