Biography
Peter Ray came from Romford in Essex, he was a regular race winner at club meetings at Brands Hatch and Snetterton.
On a 250cc Aermacchi, he entered the 1968 lightweight MGP, but during the race unfortunately he was killed in an accident at Ballaugh bridge. On the same morning of the accident his wife gave birth to a baby daughter.
He did gain some support with his Aermacchi from Syd Lawton of Southampton.
