With the Isle of Man Met Office forecasting a 'mostly dry evening, with bright intervals' the 2017 Classic TT Presented by Bennetts will see qualifying start at 1720 tonight.

The Classic TT newcomers will be the first away, making their compulsory speed controlled lap under the supervision of experienced riders.

Following that, at 1730, the Lightweights and Superbikes will be out on course and at 1830 the Senior (500cc) and Junior (350cc) classic machines will have their chance to see the course for the first time in 2017.

Towards the end of the session all newcomers will have another chance to ride the course.

You can follow all the action on TTLive (via iomtt.com) and via the official Isle of Man TT Twitter account @iom_tt
