Biography
From Bedlington Geoff Bell is a seasoned and respected competitor at the TT. He took 9th and 6th place in 1989. In 1990 on the F2 outfit he finished 2nd to Dave Saville. In 1991 he finished 6th in Race A and 2nd in Race B. In 1992 he won both races, the first at 101.50mph and the second at 101.49mph – just 0.6 seconds difference in his winning times. In 1993 he retired in both races. In 1994 he finished 5th in both races. In 1995 he took 3rd place in the first race and 5th in Race B and in 1996 finished 4th in both races. In 1997 he took 8th and 9th places but in 1998 a practice spill ended his week. In 1999 he finished 10th and in 2000 he again rode the 600 Bell Yamaha outfit and took 3rd in Race B with passenger Craig Hallam. His fastest lap is at 107.20mph
