Biography

Simon started his racing career at the age of 15 on Motocross bikes. After 3 years and as Yorkshire champion he had to retire due to a reoccurring knee injury.

He then decided to turn his hand to road racing. In his first year racing (2000) and at 20 years old (the youngest in his class),Simon took, EMRA-Best up and coming driver, Darley Moor-F2 sidecar champion, New Era-F2 Sidecar champion, ACU Star series-open class sidecar champion.

2001

MRO-Best up and coming driver, Darley Moor-Sidecar lap record, Darley moor-Sidecar race record, MRO-7th place overall in British F2 Sidecar championship, Darley moor-Open sidecar class champion, New Era-F2 Champion, EMRA-F2 Sidecar champion, Wirral 100 road race-1st place.

2002

Isle of Man TT-15th place "Best Newcomer award", EMRA-2nd place sidecar championship.

2003

Isle of Man TT-18th place race A/11th place Race B.
