Ivor Lloyd was one of the best riders to come out of Wales at that time. People called him the ‘Flying Welsh Man’.
He has six Silver Replicas at home, which he keeps in a glass case. When he came over to Canada in 1957 he started a long winning streak that would go on some 18 years. Setting track records all through North America with more than 50 wins.
He raced up to the age of 49 and still rides on the street as much as he can at the age of 78.
He still wears sis TT Riders Association crest on his jacket.
After racing for more than 25 years, the Isle of Man TT Races are still his most memorable.
