Biography
Dick Tapken is a sidecar racer who has taken wins in Belgium at Gedinne and Mettet. His best TT result to date is 10th in 1978. In 2000 he took 35th place. Dick has lapped the course at 98mph and his ambition is a replica finish at the TT.
Dick is an HGV/Plant fitter from Newcastle under Lyme and he is married to Susan with a son Thomas.
