You don't HAVE to go to any of the joints that have strippers/lapdancers on, and it's only for one week, for god's sake. Do you normally go clubbing on a weekday ? There are plenty of pubs around the island that are doing their usual thing, so why not go there instead ? As for the woman's perspective, they are earning a lot of money in an easy way, and they're in charge. They've worked hard to get their bodies in shape (better than the wives/girlfriends you mention in most cases), and aren't selling their bodies - touch a lapdancer and you'll be out of the club before you know what's happening. Clearly you don't understand what goes on, yet you're prepared to lecture us all like an old biddy. My missus doesn't have a problem because she trusts me, and I wouldn't dream of messing about - and she knows it's a treat to have a gorgeous girl dancing for you. At the end of the day it's more about having a laugh with your mates than about a sexual thrill. "I am not a prude and im not begrudging anyone any fun" - not true. You are a prude and you're begrudging people's fun.
