TT riders including Cameron Donald, Adrian Archibald, Raymond Porter are in action this weekend.

With the Centenary running of the Isle of Man TT just weeks away, several riders will be on track at the Cookstown 100 Road Races in Northern Ireland.

Practices are on Friday, with a 13-race programme being held on Saturday.John Burrows leads Martin Finnegan at the 2006 Cookstown 100 (Alan Armstrong)

For many leading riders this is the first taste of racing between the hedges this year, the start of a busy year which includes the landmark celebrations on the Isle of Man's legendary Mountain Circuit. It is also the first round of the Duke Road Race Rankings, the 24-round series which runs until mid-September.

The line-up for the Cookstown 100 features many names familiar to the TT.

Five-times TT winner Robert Dunlop will be on the grid, as will sons Michael and William and their cousin Sam. Manxman Conor Cummins is also in action.

It will be an opportunity to check out the form of Aussie ace Cameron Donald, Scot Keith Amor and Ballymoney man Adrian Archibald's Relentless Suzuki by TAS ahead of the TT, which starts on May 26.
