The wife of Marc Ramsbotham, who died in a crash during the Senior Race at the Centenary TT, is appealing for anyone with photos of her late husband to get in touch.
Sarah would like to hear from anyone who took pictures of Marc during the fortnight, particularly one man who was photographer her and Marc together near the start line at the TT Grandstand in Douglas.
Her request, initially made on the iomtt.com forums, has led to many people getting in touch, but she would like to hear from anyone else who could help.
Sarah said:
‘I know a number of people were taking photos on the pit wall and around the track, I would be really grateful for any pictures that people may have of Marc.’
‘Please let me know if there is anyone out there, especially the man that took photos close up of Marc and I leaning on the pit wall before the race.’
‘I would be extremely grateful.’
If you can help, visit Marc’s website where you will find contact details.
Meanwhile, a fund has been set up in memory of Marc.
The 34-year-old from Norfolk was competing in his first TT when he crashed. Two spectators also died in the incident and two marshals were injured.
His funeral will be held tomorrow.
Marc’s family have asked for flowers from close family only, and added in a statement:
‘A trust fund in memory of Marc has been set up by his parents, for the benefit of Marc’s daughters.’
‘If you would like to make a donation please either make a donation on the day or send a cheque to Standley Steel Stockholders, 30A London Road, Wymondham, Norfolk, NR18 9JD.’
‘Cheques should be made payable to Standley Steel – Rammy Racing.
