Farquhar and McAdoo reunited

Ryan Farquhar starts the Superstock race at the Centenary TT

TT star Ryan Farquhar will be on a McAdoo Kawasaki ZX-10R Superbike for the Mid-Antrim Road Races, it has been confirmed.

The team has not competed since Raymond Porter withdrew from the sport at the North West 200.

A spokesman said the team is delighted to welcome back former rider Farquhar.

Together, the rider and team scored wins at major road racing events, including the TT, North West 200 and Ulster Grand Prix and the spokesman added:

‘We are confident that together we can again be a major force for the remainder of the season.’

After a break from racing since the end of the Centenary TT in June, Farquhar returned to the track at last weekend’s Kells meeting. He scored three third place finishes, in the Supersport, Open and Grand Final events.

The results moved him up 12 places to 23 in the Duke Road Race Rankings, which Manxman Conor Cummins leads from Guy Martin.

The McAdoo spokesman added:

‘Following the Mid-Antrim, hopefully we will compete at the Ulster Grand Prix, where the team holds the outright lap record of 130.828mph with Ian Hutchinson.’
