TT2008 race schedule to be revealed

It is hoped John McGuinness, pictured on his way to victory in the 2007 Senior TT, will attend the NEC Motorcycle and Scooter Show

The schedule for TT 2008 will be announced on the first day of the NEC Motorcycle and Scooter Show in Birmingham, it has been confirmed.

The Isle of Man Department of Tourism and Leisure will reveal the racing schedule for next year’s TT, which runs from Saturday, May 24th, until Friday, June 6th.

After the massive success of the Centenary celebrations of the TT in 2007, there is huge anticipation about next year’s event – and worldwide interest in the racing schedule.

The announcement will be made on Thursday, November 22, when it is expected more news about TT 2008 and the future of the event will also be revealed.

Visitors to the Bike Show will be able to meet representatives from the DTL and TT throughout the event, which finishes on December 2.

Representatives will be on the Duke stand (2H50), and several very special guests are also expected to make an appearance, including outright lap record holder John McGuinness.

Legendary motorsport commentator and lifelong TT fan Murray will also be at the show, on December 1, signing copies of the film.
