Joey Dunlop fundraiser announced
Rock the night away and support charity during the TT – that’s the call from the Joey Dunlop Foundation.
On May 31st, the Villa Marina in Douglas will play host to Sounds of the Cave Reunion with a Twist of TT Rock!
The night will feature live music from Brazen plus a disco with Manx Radio’s Chris Williams and former Tourism and Leisure Minister and Manx Grand Prix competitor David Cretney on the decks!
Doors are due to open at 8.30pm and the disco will be going until 2am.
This great evening of entertainment costs just £6, and the event is supporting the Joey Dunlop Foundation.
The foundation was established in memory of one of the best-loved TT winners, 26-times victor Joey Dunlop.
It is planning to create accommodation for disabled people in Victoria Road, Douglas.
The team behind the foundation have worked tirelessly to raise the money needed to realise the dream, but increased costs mean the fundraising must go on.
Sounds of the Cave Reunion with a Twist of TT Rock is the latest event ot help raise much-needed money for the foundation, and chairman Kevin Quirk said all offers of help are welcome.
He added:
‘Due to the spiralling building costs in the Isle of Man, the JDF committee has another hectic year of fundraising events and, again, if you can offer support or organise an event on our behalf then please do not hesitate to contact myself or any committee member.’
