Busy day for World Champion
Three-times World Sidecar Champion Tim Reeves was delighted after a busy first day on his Isle of Man TT debut.
Reeves and passenger Patrick Farrance took part in qualifying at Donington Park before jetting to the Isle of Man to make their first appearance on the famous Mountain Circuit.
The crew lapped the course during Saturday evening’s untimed practice session.
After completing the Isle of Man session, Reeves revealed how much he had enjoyed his first TT experience.
He said:
‘That was absolutely fantastic. I can see why everyone has raved about the event.’
‘I’ve never experienced anything like that anywhere else in the world in all the circuits I’ve raced. It is an awesome place – nothing’s the same.‘
‘I’m used to going out for a lap of a minute or two so to go for 20 minutes or so is brilliant. I didn’t want to stop.’
Reeves and Farrance had snatched pole during qualifying at Donington only for the time to be beaten later by the French outfit of Sebastien Delannoy and Gregory Cluze.
