The practice session planned for Wednesday evening at the Isle of Man TT has been cancelled.

Organisers confirmed the session, due to start at 6.20pm, would not go ahead due to bad weather conditions. The announcement was made at 1.30pm.

Tuesday’s practice session was disrupted by rain, standing water and low-lying cloud and saw just six solos go out for a single lap of the world-famous Mountain Circuit. The sidecar outfits followed out the solos.

Further practices are scheduled for Thursday and Friday evenings, with the first races of the 2008 TT taking place on Saturday.

Meanwhile, subscribers to the TT Live! Gold service can now watch fantastic videos from the pitlane and paddock at the Isle of Man TT.

Three videos, with a combined running time of more than 18 minutes, have been posted so far, bringing fans interviews with the stars during the practice sessions held on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday.

Among the highlights is newcomer Jamie Robinson talking about his first experience of the TT circuit, 13-times winner John McGuinness revealing what it’s like to be the man everyone wants to beat and Relentless by TAS Suzuki star Cameron Donald chatting about his return to the TT after an injury-enforced absence from the Centenary event.

You can also hear from Ian Hutchinson about his hopes for this year with the AIM Yamaha, and whether he can add to the maiden TT win he took in 2007. His teammate Steve Plater, fresh from three victories at the North West 200, reveals why he decided to have another go at the TT and his ambitions for 2008.

TT-winner Ryan Farquhar discusses his split from the McAdoo team on the eve of the festival, what he thinks he can do with the Harker Racing Kawasakis and what the future might hold.

Plus, the always colourful Guy Martin talks about why he didn’t bother with Tuesday’s wet practice session and his hopes for TT2008.
