MotoGP star and Isle of Man resident James Toseland is due to attend Peel Day during this year’s TT festival, it has been confirmed.

The city in the west of the Island will be welcoming thousands of local residents and visiting TT fans on Mad Sunday, June 7, for a fun-packed afternoon.

Peel Day gets under way at midday and will feature live music, entertainment, stalls and guest appearances.

Among the bands due to perform are Hypno Toad, Hit the North, Juicy Lucy and I am President.

There will be fun for all the family, with a bucking bronco, bouncy castles, hammer and bell, bike balancing and a chance to prove your riding skills on the TT Superbikes game.

You may also be able to enjoy a jet ski ring ride, watch the street entertainers and visit the trade stands and food stalls.

In addition to the planned appearance by two-times World Superbike Champion Toseland, who is hoping to see his fortunes in his second MotoGP season improve, Peel Day will also be visited by extreme trials ace Steve Colley and the incredible Purple Helmets with their one-of-a-kind stunt show.

A spokesman for the organisers said:

‘With special guests, great entertainment and fun for all the family this is going to be amazing day out – Peel is the place to be this Mad Sunday.’
