Gary Johnson to return to the TT with Suzuki

Gary Johnson will return to the Isle of Man TT in 2010, it has been confirmed.

The Broughton star has signed with AIM Suzuki and is expected to contest the Superbike and Superstock races for the team at the 2010 TT.
Johnson is also expected to be race in the Supersport class for the Rev2Race East Coast Construction.

Last year, Johnson rounded off a good TT with a stunning podium place in the Senior TT. Heading into the 2010 race season, he has been battle with a knee injury.

However, he says he is now fully recovered and ready for the TT.

He said:

“I have been having a lot of treatment on my damaged knee throughout the winter and am now 100% fit and ready for the challenge.”
“Having ridden for Alistair Flanagan and the AIM team at Macau in November I feel I know the team well and we work well together so I am really looking forward to the new season.”

In addition to the TT, Johnson will race at the North West 200, Ulster GP, Macau and in the British Superbike Championship, where he is expected to ride in the new Evo section.
