Rising Isle of Man TT star Dan Kneen will ride a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R this season, it has been confirmed.

The Manxman will continue with the Marks Bloom Racing Team, but now with the added support of Kawasaki UK.

The 23-year-old has enjoyed top 10 finishes at the TT, as well as fine results at the North West 200 and other road race meetings.

He also competes on short circuits, finishing second in the 2010 British Supersport Cup.

This year, Kneen will ride at the TT, North West and Ulster Grand Prix as well as riding in the EVO class of the British Superbike Championship.

Adding the support of Kawasaki Motors UK to his established sponsors, Marks

Bloom Chartered Accountants and Wemoto.com, Kneen is also under the watchful eye of Manx resident and world famous tuner and bike preparation expert Anthony “Slick” Bass.

Confirming the latest rider in the Kawasaki stable, racing coordinator for Kawasaki

Motors UK Ross Burridge recognised the raw talent that Kneen has exhibited.

He said:

“Like so many riders looking for podiums in 2011, Dan has chosen the new Ninja ZX-10R.”

“His track record so far, allied to the support of loyal and enthusiastic sponsors, looks set to produce the perfect platform for his future success on Kawasaki machinery.”
