2013 Official TT Races Programme now available

The official 2013 Isle of Man TT Races Programme, produced by Mannin Media, is now available from leading newsagents and on-line via the iomtt.com website.

The full colour 132 page high quality publication contains features and insights into all of the leading solo and sidecar competitors as well as introducing some of the high profile newcomers, such as Australian Josh Brookes, who will be taking to the Mountain Circuit in 2013. TT Rider Liaison officer Richard 'Milky' Quayle runs the rule over the solo contenders for the honours in 2013 while leading sidecar competitor Dave Molyneux reveals who he believes will be his main challengers as he looks to add to his 16 TT race wins.

There is a 'behind the visor' feature that gets you into the minds of the TT racers as they answer a series of quick fire questions, while Cameron Donald and Tim Reeves share their thoughts on the challenge of trying to de-throne two of the all time TT legends in John McGuinness and Dave Molyneux. This year's programme also introduces Dean Harrison - 'the Idle Apprentice' - who is set to be a major star as he teams up with RC Express Kawasaki.

The Rutter family, Tony and Michael, compare notes on almost fifty years of racing at the TT and share how much the event has shaped their lives while this year's programme also features a profile on Jack Valentine as he returns to the TT for the first time in 10 years and attempts to pull of a fairy tale win with MV Agusta.

Away from the riders the spotlight falls on Gary Thompson, the ACU's Clerk of the Course, who will be sharing the unique challenges he faces to keep the races on track while there are also a look at leading factory outfit Milwaulkee Yamaha and Japanese SES TT Zero team Mugen.

Fans of statistics will enjoy the 'PokerStars Perfect Lap' analysis that looks at the fastest times from each of the six sectors and the ultimate TT lap record while there's also a study of how likely it is that John McGuinness will be able to overturn Joey Dunlop's 26 TT victories.

The Programme and Race Guide both boast distinctive artwork on their front cover. Featuring a number of the top riders illustrated in a comic book superhero style, the covers offer a real departure and promise to become collectors’ items in the future. Those riders included are current TT legends John McGuinness and Dave Molyneux, along with race winners Michael Dunlop, Bruce Anstey, Cameron Donald and Gary Johnson. The TT superheroes artwork is also available as a series of collectable posters and other merchandise.

The complete programme pack includes a separate full colour Race Guide and Spectator Guide with Richard 'Milky' Quayle's inimitable guide to the best spots to watch around the course. It is available from WH Smith stores nationwide, many of the Isle of Man's leading newsagents and on-line via the official iomtt.com shop.
