Racing cancelled Saturday - new schedule announced for Sunday, Monday
All racing, qualifying and parades scheduled for Saturday have been cancelled at the 2015 Isle of Man TT today after high winds over the mountain section made it impossible for the medical helicopter to provide adequate coverage.
The Clerk of the Course announced the decision just after 1.30.
It had initially been hoped it would be possible to run the Sure Sidecar race later in the afternoon as the forecast called for decreasing wind speeds but in the end the weather had the final say.
The RST Superbike race will still run on Sunday but the Sure Sidecar race has now been rescheduled for Monday 8th.
