Biography

George Pascal Ellison lived in Wallasey, Cheshire and by trade was a Tea & Coffee Merchant. He regularly rode a 350cc KTT MkVIII Velocette, although he rode a 350cc Internationsl Norton in the 1950 Clubman's Race. George concentrated his racing, mainly on the Northern Short Circuits such as Altcar, Rhydymwyn, Chirk Castle, Scarborough as well as a couple of sprints at Ellesmere Port. Like many riders, he enjoyed the atmosphere of the Irish Road Races, taking part in the Leinster '200'; North West '200'; Dundrod '100' & '200' and the Skerries '100 - all between 1947 and 1951.
