Biography
Rem Fowler had a tough time winning the 1907 twin-cylinder class TT on his Norton. At one stage he’d had so many problems changing tyres, plugs and belts that he decided to call it a day. It was only when a spectator told him that he was leading by half an hour that he decided to continue and went on to win at a speed of 42,91mph.
Rem Fowler rode in 1980, 1909 and 1910, before taking part in the first TT on the Mountain Course, finishing 19th in the Junior, but failed to finish in the Senior due to machine problems.
